Management Leadership

Business management, tax strategy, and long-term financial partnership for entertainment professionals, high-net-worth families, and the businesses they build.

Led by
Daniel Litvin, CPA, MBA
Founder & Managing Partner, Laléa & Black, LLP

About Daniel

Daniel founded Laléa & Black in 2013 to build the kind of firm he wished he’d been able to hire himself: small enough to know every client personally, technically deep enough to handle sophisticated work in-house, and structurally committed to never outsourcing client data overseas.

Twelve years later, that thesis has held. Daniel’s personal book focuses on entertainment industry professionals, complex partnerships, and multi-generational HNW families. His work spans traditional CPA services — tax planning, entity structuring, family office coordination — but on any given day he’s more likely to be reviewing a client’s books alongside their wealth manager, structuring a transaction with outside counsel, or explaining a tax law change over the phone in language that actually helps someone make a decision.

Alongside client work, Daniel leads firm strategy: hiring, technology, and the discipline of staying small enough to matter.

What he handles

  • Business management — full financial oversight for entertainment industry clients (bill pay, personal bookkeeping, cash flow, coordination with agents, managers, and attorneys)
  • Complex tax — high-income individual planning, partnership and S-corp structuring, multi-entity families
  • Trust & estate coordination — working with clients’ estate counsel on structure, funding, and ongoing reporting
  • Family office services — consolidated reporting, intercompany accounting, generational planning
  • Firm strategy — how Laléa & Black hires, trains, and delivers
