STRATEGY

The financial quarterback for your full advisor bench.

Entity structuring, exit planning, QSBS strategy, wealth transfer, transaction diligence. We coordinate across your attorneys, bankers, and wealth managers — so nothing falls between the cracks.

ENTITY · EXIT · QSBS · SUCCESSION · WEALTH TRANSFER · TRANSACTION SUPPORT

Strategy means we sit at the table with your other advisors.

The role

Every material financial decision in your business or wealth has tax, structural, and cash-flow implications. Most decisions land in the seam between advisors — and that seam is where money gets lost. Our job is to bridge it: to translate between disciplines, run the numbers on both sides, and make sure your advisor bench moves in the same direction.

You already have an attorney, a wealth manager, and probably a banker. We don't replace them. We coordinate with them.

That's what your CFO would do if you had one. It's what business managers do for entertainers. And it's what a CPA firm should be doing for you at every material moment — not just once a year in April.

Banker / M&A

Your attorney handles legal drafting. Your wealth manager handles investment allocation. Your banker handles capital. We handle tax, structure, and coordination — and translate between all four so your decisions are complete, not partial.

Steward

Financial reporting integrity. Internal controls. Compliance. The stuff that keeps auditors, regulators, and lenders confident in your numbers.

Steward. Operator. Strategist. Catalyst. Our advisory practice is built around all four.

Every good CFO wears four hats.

The CFO framework

Operator

Budgeting, forecasting, close discipline, and the day-to-day rhythm of financial ops. The engine room.

Strategist

Long-range planning. M&A modeling. Capital structure. Where you play, how you win, what you buy or sell.

Catalyst

Behavioral change. Turning financial insight into operating decisions across the organization. The role most fractional CFOs skip.

“From strategy to operations, we make sure our business advisory solutions are catered to the unique needs of your industry, sector, and organization.”

When to call us

When clients bring us in.

  • Revenue crossed $2M and you can't tell what's actually profitable
  • You're preparing for a raise, a line of credit, or a sale
  • Investors want a real forecast — not a color-coded guess
  • Cash is tight and you need a 13-week model, this week
  • You just formed a new entity (LLC vs. S-corp vs. C-corp — and it matters)
  • Schedule C net income crossed $80K and no one's talked to you about an S-election
  • You're paying yourself $200K in draws and $0 in W-2
  • Delaware franchise tax bill came in and no one warned you
  • You're expanding into a new state and no one has mentioned "nexus" yet
  • Life event: exit, marriage, divorce, inheritance, major asset sale

The math you feel

The math you feel.

A founder walked in last year paying themselves entirely through owner draws on a $420K Schedule C. Six months later: S-corp elected, reasonable comp set at $140K, remaining $280K flowing through as distributions.

Estimated annual self-employment tax savings: ~$14K. Multiply that by every year they stay structured correctly.

Every situation is different. But structure is money — and structural moves compound over years, not months.

Common questions

The questions we hear most.

What's the difference between Business Management and Strategy?

Business Management handles the ongoing operational finance work — bill pay, cash flow, monthly reporting, CFO oversight. Strategy is project-based structural work — entity design, exit planning, transaction diligence, wealth-transfer coordination. Most business management clients also engage us for periodic strategy work; many strategy clients don't need ongoing business management.

Do you handle investments?

No. We coordinate closely with your wealth manager and make sure the tax picture is aligned. We do not manage investments or accept commissions or referral fees.

Can you help with a specific transaction I'm doing next month?

Yes. Transaction support is one of our most common strategy engagements. Sell-side or buy-side diligence, QSBS analysis, structural pre-work — often scoped as fixed-fee projects with defined deliverables.

Do you work with our attorney, or do we need to hire yours?

Yours. We coordinate directly with the attorneys and bankers you already trust. If you don't have an attorney for a specific matter and want a referral, we have a short list of specialists we regularly work with.

Do you do fractional CFO work?

Yes — Fractional CFO is a tier under Business Management. Ongoing forecasting, board reporting, and strategic finance for growing businesses. Strategy is more project-based structural work. Most clients need both at different stages.

How is this priced?

Strategy engagements are quoted per project with defined scope and deliverables. Ongoing CFO advisory is a monthly retainer. Both quoted before work begins.
