Do you work in QuickBooks Desktop?
No. We're QBO-only. If you're on Desktop, we'll migrate you as part of onboarding.
Do you do cash basis or accrual?
Both. Most of our clients are on cash for tax and modified accrual for management reporting.
Will you clean up my old books?
Yes. Cleanup is quoted separately — usually a one-time flat fee — and gets you to a clean opening balance before we start monthly work.
Can you do sales tax?
We handle straightforward multi-state sales tax through Avalara or TaxJar integrations. Anything nexus-heavy, we'll be honest and refer you to a specialist.
Who actually touches my books?
A U.S.-based bookkeeper does the daily work. A CPA reviews the close every month. Both are on our team. Neither of them lives overseas.
Are you HIPAA / SOC-friendly?
Our stack (QBO, Egnyte, Bill.com, ADP) is enterprise-grade. For clients with formal compliance needs, we'll walk through our controls.
