BOOK A CONSULTATION →What we do
- Monthly close on QuickBooks Online — books that a CFO can actually work from. Bank and credit card reconciliations, accrued expenses, prepaid amortization, revenue recognition, deferred revenue, intercompany eliminations, and a locked period. - CPA review before delivery. MBA-holding CPAs, not offshore bookkeepers, sign off on the numbers. - Monthly financial reporting package — P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, budget-vs-actual, month-over-month and year-over-year comparisons, KPI dashboard, and a short written commentary on what changed and what to watch. - Board reporting packages — formatted for board or investor consumption. Waterfall on cash. Revenue and gross margin trends. Runway. Concentration risk. Whatever the board actually reads. - Bank and lender reporting — covenant compliance calculations, borrowing base certificates, monthly financial packages formatted to the lender's requirements. - 13-week rolling cash flow forecast — updated weekly for operators actively managing cash. Payables, receivables, payroll, tax, debt service — everything on one page. - Annual budget and quarterly re-forecast — bottoms-up budget by department or product line, with quarterly re-forecast against actuals. - KPI dashboards — the two-to-five metrics that actually drive your business, tracked monthly. Gross margin, CAC, LTV, revenue per employee, days sales outstanding, inventory turns — whichever apply. - AP through Bill.com. Payroll coordination through ADP. Same integrated stack as our recurring bookkeeping engagements.
One monthly price. No hourly CPA fees. All staff U.S.-based. We never send your private data to foreign countries. 24/7 access to your financial data.

Frequently asked
Q: Is this the same as hiring a full-time CFO?
A: No — and we don't pretend it is. A full-time CFO is embedded in the business, sits in the leadership meetings, and owns capital strategy day-to-day. What we deliver is the controllership and CFO-level reporting that keeps a growing business running until the full-time hire is warranted. Many of our clients graduate to a full-time CFO. We prepare the books and reporting infrastructure so that hire is set up to succeed on day one.
Q: Do you help us raise capital?
A: No. We are a CPA firm, not an investment adviser. We are not registered as an RIA. We prepare the financials, forecasts, and reporting that will be reviewed by lenders and investors, and we sit in the room to answer questions about the numbers — but the capital raise itself is run by your investment banker, corporate counsel, or advisor. We are honest about that boundary up front.
Q: What is the difference between this and your outsourced accounting service?
A: Outsourced accounting is the monthly close plus reporting package. Outsourced CFO adds cash flow forecasting, budget and re-forecast, KPI reporting, board and lender packages, and the CFO-level conversation about what the numbers mean. Most clients start with outsourced accounting and add CFO scope when a lender, board, or growth event triggers the need.
Q: Can you build our budget and forecast if we've never had one?
A: Yes. Bottoms-up build by department or product line, tied to historical actuals from the books we already keep. Quarterly re-forecast against actuals so the number stays honest as the year unfolds.
Q: Do you sit in on board meetings?
A: For portfolio-company clients, yes — walking the board through the monthly package is often the scope. Cadence and format are set in the engagement letter.
Q: What is the fee structure?
A: One monthly price for the recurring scope — books, close, reporting, budget/forecast maintenance, board and lender packages, cash flow forecast. Extraordinary projects (debt or equity raise support, audit preparation, system conversions) are quoted separately. No hourly meter on the recurring work.
