BOOK A CONSULTATION →What we do
Most LA bookkeeping services are volume operations. Cheap monthly fees. Bank feeds categorized by a technician you've never spoken to. A "close" that is really just transactions coded and shipped. And when tax season arrives, a preparer at a different firm has to unwind the mess.
We are a Beverly Hills CPA firm — LA clients since 2008 — running bookkeeping the way a competent internal accounting team would:
- Monthly close on QuickBooks Online — bank and credit card reconciliations, revenue tie-outs, accrued expenses, prepaid amortization, intercompany eliminations, and a locked period so numbers stop shifting. - A licensed CPA reviews every close before you see it. Not a bookkeeper checking a bookkeeper — a CPA signs off. - Clean chart of accounts — built for your business, not a generic template. Structured so the P&L actually tells you something. - Bank feeds handled correctly. No "Ask My Accountant" pile. No 400 uncategorized entries. If something can't be coded from the feed, we ask. - Reports that make sense. P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, plus a short written summary of what changed month over month and what to watch. - Year-end handoff straight into tax. Books flow into our tax team on ProConnect. Same firm. No re-explaining, no re-uploading.
One monthly price. No hourly CPA fees. No hourly meter on the recurring work. All staff U.S.-based. We never send your private data to foreign countries. 24/7 access to your financial data via QuickBooks Online.

Frequently asked
Q: What makes CPA-reviewed bookkeeping different from a bookkeeping service?
A: A bookkeeping service does data entry, categorization, and reconciliations. CPA-reviewed bookkeeping adds a licensed CPA's sign-off on every monthly close — checking accruals, revenue recognition, intercompany, and unusual entries before you see the reports. Same firm prepares the tax return at year-end, so books-to-tax is one workflow, not two.
Q: Will you clean up my old books?
A: Yes. Cleanup is quoted separately from the monthly work — usually a one-time flat fee — and gets your books to a clean opening balance before recurring service begins. We are honest about scope up front so there are no invoice surprises.
Q: Do I need to switch to QuickBooks Online?
A: Yes. We are QBO-only. If you're on Desktop or another platform, migration is part of onboarding. See QuickBooks Online bookkeeper Los Angeles for the software-specific detail.
Q: How is fee set?
A: One monthly price based on transaction volume, number of bank accounts, entity count, and reporting complexity. No hourly meter on the recurring work. Add-ons (payroll, bill pay, 1099s, sales tax) are quoted separately.
Q: Do you work with businesses outside California?
A: Yes for federal work and for the monthly bookkeeping itself. See monthly bookkeeping services for the national-scope framing. Multi-state tax filings are handled where the client operates.
Q: Who actually touches my books?
A: A U.S.-based bookkeeper does the daily work. A licensed CPA reviews the close every month. Both are on our team, in the Beverly Hills office. Neither of them lives overseas.
